First of all

Our Delicious Lamb

Our Hill Radnor sheep graze on a diverse range of grasses and herbs, resulting in meat that is full of flavour. We offer lamb, hogget, and mutton, all of which are perfect for a range of dishes. Our meat is available to purchase direct from us for local delivery or at the Local to Ludlow Market, held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.

Not to mention

Wool

We sell 100% Hill Radnor wool from our sheep. It is available as balls for knitting or crocheting; skeins for knitting crocheting or dyeing; rovings for needle felting or hand spinning and raw fleece for peg loom weaving or hand carding and spinning.

And let's not forget

Wonderful Honey

Our busy bees help pollinate our orchard and produce delicious honey. Our honey is available to purchase direct from the farm or at the Local to Ludlow Market.

and in the future

Apple Juice

We have planted an orchard with a range of different varieties of apples and pears. In future years apple and pear juice will be produced from this orchard.

Most importantly

The Nature

Supporting wildlife is an important part of our farming. We have been reinstating and improving the hedgerows, planting trees and restoring ponds. We have areas of rough grazing which support a large population of field voles, which in turn feed barn owls. We do not use herbicides or fertilisers on the pastures which contain many different species of grasses and herbs.

About Fair View Fields

Fair View Fields is located on Stapleton Hill in the beautiful rolling countryside between Lingen and Presteigne and the business is run from our home in Ludlow. We are passionate about producing the finest lamb, hogget and mutton. Our flock of Hill Radnor sheep graze pastures consisting of a range of grasses and herbs, slowly maturing to produce meat which is full of flavour. We have planted an orchard to produce apple and pear juice in future years and have a number of bee hives that help pollinate the orchard and produce wonderful honey.
